Explore Burgas
Make the most of your time in Burgas. Between competition days, the city and its surroundings offer experiences that are hard to find anywhere else on the Black Sea coast.
A symbol of Burgas and one of the most beautiful parks in Bulgaria, established in 1910 and today declared a memorial of park art. Its network of alleys overlooks the Black Sea, with summerhouses, singing fountains, restaurants serving freshly cooked seafood, and evening open-air concerts. Every visitor — athlete, coach, or supporter — finds something here.
Explore ↗One of Burgas's most iconic landmarks, extending 300 metres into the Black Sea to reveal a sweeping view of the Gulf of Burgas. A favourite promenade for locals and visitors alike — perfect for an early morning walk before competition day, or a sunset stroll after the awards ceremony. Accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.
Explore ↗Located 7 km from Burgas, St. Anastasia is the only inhabited island on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Reach it by hydrobus from Magaziya 1 at the Port of Burgas in around 30 minutes. Rich in legend and history — spend the night in a monastic cell, taste tea from healing herbs, eat freshly cooked mussels, or simply breathe the open sea air.
